Crux Finance - DeFi Portfolio & Accounting Platform
Ergo DeFi portfolio tracker with TradingView charting, wallet aggregation, and tax-ready accounting, where I built the web app and accounting pipeline and a separate engineer built the Rust backend.
Outcome
Listed as an official Ergo ecosystem tool
Crux Finance is included in Ergo's official documentation as a recommended ecosystem tool, used by traders and investors who need both real-time portfolio tracking and audit-ready tax outputs.
Overview
DeFi participants need to track positions across multiple protocols and produce tax-ready accounting at year end, but most portfolio tools either skip the tax piece or generate outputs that are not auditable. On Crux Finance I built the web application and the crypto accounting pipeline, which handles wallet aggregation, transaction categorization, and tax-ready reporting across Ergo DeFi protocols; a separate engineer built the Rust backend. The web app includes TradingView-integrated charting, wallet analysis, and reports that users can submit as part of their annual filings. Crux Finance is listed in Ergo's official ecosystem documentation as a core tool.
What it does
- Token price charts integrate with TradingView and surface trending tokens, top gainers, and top losers across the Ergo ecosystem.
- The accounting pipeline I built aggregates a user's full transaction history across Ergo DeFi protocols into a single timeline view.
- Tax-ready accounting reports cover the full tax year, with categorized transactions formatted for direct use in filings.
- Real-time portfolio valuations roll up balances across connected wallets, including positions in liquidity pools and staking contracts.
